Website Update

Oops!

The Scorpio website has now been upgraded to the latest release of the article system and framework. This has been a job in the making and finally some time has been found to push the updates out.

Unfortunately it took longer than anticipated due to an un-cooperative PC that persisted in crashing during the SFTP file transfer. Then once the files were uploaded, the updates could not be applied as the hosts phpMyAdmin would not run SQL queries. Fortunately there was command line access and the dbUpdates could be run (with some minor issues regarding permissions).

All in the upgrade would have been fairly smooth if those items are ignored. For people upgrading from previous versions, or new to Scorpio: ensure that both system_update_1.sql and system_update_2.sql are run before the dbUpdate script.

Finally; there were then several issues with the site as somehow, despite having been setup and working perfectly in development - all the changes, updates, corrections and images were lost. Where they went is anyones guess. Development work is usually carried out in a dedicated VM which is backed up, but this time - gone. So the print view, ratings and CSS were all out of whack. It should all be sorted now and an additional backup has been made.

A new Scorpio package is being worked on (release 0.1.3) due in the next week or so.
