0.1-beta2 released for download
The second beta for the Scorpio framework is now available for download as either a .tar.gz or .zip archive from the project download page at SourceForge.net.
Changes in this release include moving Smarty further back in the mvcView layer and the inclusion of an engine interface. This should allow other template engines to be more easily used with the mvc system.
mvcControllerActions has been expanded to include an mvcControllerAction object that now allows for validation of an action request. Current action requests can be validated using a regular expression (e.g. numeric strings, codes etc).
For both generators, the templates have now been moved out of the libraries folder and into tools. generator.php has had several bug fixes to the folder creation logic.
Finally: development is progressing slowly at this point owing to my impending relocation to Canada and the laptop being remarkably unstable.
